Operating the Golf Cart.

The operation of the golf cart is very similar to operating a car. The controls for the turn signals/horn/Hazards are on the steering wheel column. The headlight switch is located next to the ignition key switch. It is a pull out switch to turn on and to turn off push back in. To change the carts ability to move forward or reverse there is a lever located on the front seat near your legs. To shift to forward move the handle to the left, for reverse move the lever to the right. The cart must be at a full stop before shifting gears.
All of our carts are gas powered and the fuel tank is located under the seat. If needed use normal 87 octane gas located at one of the gas stations on the island.

Seating

Each occupant must wear a seatbelt while riding in the golf cart. The number of occupant must never exceed the number of available seatbelts.
– If your child requires a car seat/booster seat your child must remain in the secured seat at all times. NO children at any time are permitted to ride on the lap of an occupant.

Tracking of the carts

All of our carts have Apple AirTags on them to help us locate them easily for pickups. You may receive a notification of an unrecognized AirTag near you on your phone, this is for our carts so no cause for alarm.

Weather

For the safety and longevity of your rental, please avoid driving through standing water. Doing so can cause mechanical damage and may leave the golf cart inoperable. If you encounter large puddles or flooded areas, choose an alternate route to keep your cart running smoothly throughout your stay.
